Small-town garden

The central idea was to create a place that gradually transitions from the ordered architecture of the house into a looser, more natural landscape.

The broad lawn and generous planting of grasses, flowering perennials, hydrangeas and trees and shrubs of varied forms create a spatial, slightly wild setting for everyday life.

Closer to the house, the garden becomes more structured and intimate, creating places to rest, while farther away the greenhouse and vegetable garden are integrated naturally into the landscape.

It is a garden where the practical and decorative are not separated. They complement one another to create a peaceful, living environment.
